These candles were specifically developed to accomplish targeted purposes. Some for the sheer enjoyment of their powerful aroma. Others however, were painstakingly created and tested to elicit responses that only true essential oil combinations are capable of generating. These oils have been shown to influence the mind and the emotions. This is because they are able to stimulate the limbic system of the brain often referred to as the "seat of the emotions" and they are also able to signal the hypothalamus which is the hormone control center of the brain and is responsible for the stimulation of the production of endorphins and enkephalins.
